CAUTION: This e-mail originated outside the University of Southampton.
Hi Izwan, There should be configuration e.g. $c->{editor_limit_fields} = [ "divisions", "subjects", "type", ]; You can add the additional eprint fields (e.g. dept) to that. This will allow you to apply the restriction manually to each user. From your description, it sounds like you might want to automatically link details from the user profile for the restriction. I think you may be able to achieve this with additional logic in either: [EPRINTS_ROOT]/archives/[ARCHIVEID]/cfg/cfg.d/user_fields_default.pl
[EPRINTS_ROOT]/archives/[ARCHIVEID]/cfg/cfg.d/user_fields_automatic.pl The will depend on how your users are managed. If you need more info with this part, let me know! Cheers, John From: eprints-tech-bounces@ecs.soton.ac.uk [mailto:eprints-tech-bounces@ecs.soton.ac.uk]
On Behalf Of MOHD.IZWAN SALIM via Eprints-tech CAUTION: This
e-mail originated outside the University of Southampton. Dear all... I would like to add a field in Editorial Rights Restriction. As now we have division, subject and type. I would like to add user location (new, i create new metadata field for users) or dept (already exist field for user) So that editor A can only review items from location A or Dept A. Regards
