[EP-tech] DOI handling in orcid_support_advance

Apologies for duplicating the question – I posted it as a github issue yesterday but the audience is hopefully wider here.

 

As far as I can tell, the orcid_support_advance plugin does no handling of DOIs as part of the export to ORCID functionality – i.e. the eprint record has a DOI but this doesn’t seem to pass through to ORCID?

 

Have I just missed this in the code, or is there a reason it doesn’t do this?

 

Assuming I’m not just being crazy, and there’s no known issue with passing DOIs into ORCID, has anyone done anything for this already, so I’m not reinventing the wheel?
