if you are using the datacite/doi plugin, you can use the crosscite citation service (https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fcitation.crosscite.org%2F&data=01%7C01%7Ceprints-tech%40ecs.soton.ac.uk%7C3e4c0b1fa9b24977229108d6fb904c1d%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&sdata=Mw4G7vSIjATP1eFlCD4e2xfHTqXFB78pTx8QfiDxXfs%3D&reserved=0) on doi assigned eprints. This is an example, I've just adapted the citation.crosscite.org html to our eprint installation (mainly using the same javascipt with little modification - jquery/Prototype var $j = jQuery.noConflict(); and remote path): https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fresearchdata.cab.unipd.it%2F109%2F&data=01%7C01%7Ceprints-tech%40ecs.soton.ac.uk%7C3e4c0b1fa9b24977229108d6fb904c1d%7C4a5378f929f44d3ebe89669d03ada9d8%7C0&sdata=EhNCajcP4QeLljtJub8Lwod3HRgUvzGgGQKf8tLozdU%3D&reserved=0 The service uses the datacite metadata submitted when minting the DOI. I've found the DOI plugin does not update the datacite doi metadata in the registered DOI, when changed in Eprints. Has someone already implemented it?
