Hi Agung,

One thing that's worth knowing is that if you plan to make the database inaccessible during the maintenance, then the maintenance page will stop working.

This is because EPrints checks for the database before it starts handling any requests.

If the maintenance you're doing means that the server will not be able to see the database, then you may need to handle this in the Apache layer:

Cheers,

John

Subject: [EP-tech] Create eprints under maintenance status

Hi,

My name Agung. Is it possible to make a status when user open our eprints page, and then it redirect to other page that says that our eprints is under maintenance?

Maybe someone here already have this experience, and can share about this.

Thank you,

Best regards,

Agung Prasetyo
