Hi Philipp, I could be wrong, but I think what it does is replace the existing import from DOI option in the user work area, with a version that handles the return data from crossref which contains an ORCID id and populates the relevant author/editor fields with this in the publication record. I haven't had a chance to test this though. This could be very useful because the publication data from ORCID itself is often quite sparse. Is it already possible to import by DOI from the ORCID plugin? If not, what is missing to make this happen?
