Hi Verena,

The coversheets plugin does not modify the original PDF it creates a copy.  So if you enable the plugin make sure you have plenty of free space as the copies will significantly add to your disk usage.  EPrints uses some clever rewriting so that the URL for the PDF will not change but the user will get the coversheeted rather than uncoversheeted version.
