I saw moultiple differences and decided to replace this file with taht you provided.
Now It works as shoudl!
Thank you John.
Ok.
For your repository, how does your <eprints_root>/archives/<archiveid>/cfg/cfg.d/security.pl file compare with this one:
The security.pl file is copied from the defaultcfg when your repository is created, so there may be important differences here?
Cheers,
John

Dear John
Yes of course apache2 is updated to 2.4 as Ubuntu 14.04 does not have Apache 2.2 binaries in repositoy and it is not possible to preserve old apache2 during distribution update.
I have latest version of eprints and this issues that are described in that manual covers 3.3.12 version of eprints and are not applicable to my situation.

Hi David,
Do you know if your Apache has been upgraded from 2.2 to 2.4?
If so, this might be helpful: http://wiki.unimas.my/unimaswiki/bin/view/HOW-TO,+Tutorial+%26+User+Manual/HOW-TO+%3A+Install+Eprints+v3.3.12++on+Ubuntu+14.04+With+LDAP+Authentication
The section that starts: "Now, before we proceed, we have to sort out some issue first. Eprints v3.3.12 and below have a known issues running on Apache 2.4"
Cheers,
john

I am using eprints at http://eprints.iliauni.edu.ge
for example I can provide link with document:
as you see document text is Restricted to Repository staff only but even you can download it without username and password
It worked correct before I upgraded Ubuntu Linux 12.04 to 14.04
please help me to resolve this problem, it is very urgent for us.
Thanks
