i have created the file, reloaded eprints and restarted the apache, but i get the same error message. Here is the full error message:

Hi Holger,

I have created in cfg/cfg.d a file called proxy.pl with the line:

$c->{proxy} = 'http://proxy.yourproxy.org:yourport';

and everything works fine.
