Which version of EPrints?I'm working with 3.2 - and the SWORD unzip function function in that is not the cleverest.... it assumes that the .zip file has all files in the root level, and there are no subdirectories.
Attached is the first-draft importer I wrote for the Broker (I've since updated the metadata part), which copes with sub-directories.

Thanks Ian, That helped a lot. Now I am able to deposit, but the problem is now that the file is not unpacking on the EPrints side. I am having this problem with DemoPrints also. Any suggestions? Is there a packager that I should be using somewhere that is appropriate for eprints. Currently it is just creating a .ZIP of the METS.xml and the document itself.
