Hi Nina, Your system using Fedora v16 as operating system. Based on comment from Tim and Mark, I have downgrade libxml2 and libxml2-python to the earlier version. Then regenerate views for the repository_id. It seem that the system are back to the original view (UI). Done. Step taken: 1. yum downgrade libxml2 libxml2-python 2. Remove Normalize.pm from perl_lib/Unicode 3. Restart httpd server Regards, Salleh ________________________________________ From: eprints-tech-bounces@ecs.soton.ac.uk [eprints-tech-bounces@ecs.soton.ac.uk] On Behalf Of Khairul Nina [ciknina2012@gmail.com] Sent: Thursday, October 18, 2012 8:45 AM To: eprints-tech@ecs.soton.ac.uk Subject: [EP-tech] Re: generate_views problem: possibly perl modules discreapancy Hi, So, what should I do to solve my problem. Our solution was to remove Unicode::Normalize from eprints/perl_lib thus forcing EPrints to use the system library. We tried to install next 3.2.9 version of EPrints It seems there is a discrepancy in Perl modules supplied with EPrints and in home system. Supplied Normalize.pm has version label 0.23, while the same for home system has label 1.10. Upgrade from CPAN updates only home system files, but not supplied ones.
