CAUTION: This e-mail originated outside the University of Southampton.
Good afternoon, everyone who is interested in Anubis with EPrints,
Thank you for sharing that, Luke.
My attempts at trying to get Anubis to work with EPrints have been problematic. No matter what I do, there seems to be one problem or another.
I summarize in more detail the issues here:
Not sure how serious the issue is with the "Option 1" integration that I describe?
Obviously, the shibboleth login problem (what I get with your setup, which I call "Option 2") is a show stopper for me.
I would appreciate any comments on what might be going wrong. I have spent a lot of time trying to resolve this, and problems remain.
Tomasz

Hi Tomasz,
Yes we've been experimenting with this, I've created an ingredient which you may find useful:
https://github.com/eprints/anubis
We're still tinkering with the best settings but it seems to be working. Currently we configure it to protect the search, advanced search, stats, and exports.
Regards,
Luke

Has anyone tried using Anubis with EPrints?
The advanced search bot request swarms keep coming back, and I'm thinking that at least for the advanced search, this might actually be the simplest solution, no?
Tomasz
