Re: [EP-tech] Unable to download reports

Thank you David. Its working perfectly now.

Could you also help us to resolve Shibboleth SSO with eprints which are Ubuntu Operating systems. We found the guide for CentOS(https://wiki.eprints.org/w/Shibboleth). Can we get a guide for Ubuntu?

thanks

Hi Revathi,

If you are running RHEL-based Linux (pre RHEL 9) you will need to make sure the following packages are installed:

geoipupdate
GeoIP
perl-Geo-IP

If you are on RHEL 9 or a Linux based off of this, you will need to install the following instead:

libmaxminddb
geolite2-country
perl-GeoIP2

You will also need to have Git HEAD or a very recent commit from https://github.com/eprints/irstats2 as it only recently added support for maxmind db.  If you are upgrading you will also need to run bin/stats/import_access_table script to convert existing access database records into files.  You will also need to be on at least EPrints 3.4.2.

If you are installing on Ubuntu, you probably need:

geoip-database
geoipupdate
libgeo-ip-perl

Once you have installed these you will probably need to reprocess you stats from scratch to build the irstats2_countries table use to provide the data for this map visualisation.

Dear Team,

It seems that on the website https://academic.research.sma.ac.ae/, we are unable to obtain individual country wise download reports. We have already downloaded IRStats from the EPrints Bazaar. Could there be any issue related to GEO settings? Please provide guidance.
