How about something like: $c->{mimemap}->{docx} = "application/msword"; In cfg.d/document_upload.pl: From: eprints-tech-bounces@ecs.soton.ac.uk [mailto:eprints-tech-bounces@ecs.soton.ac.uk]
On Behalf Of Andrew Beeken Hmm, the definitions seem to be there but the document type isn’t being identified on upload as a Word, XML etc – it’s defaulting to “Other”. I can’t see anywhere that this would be specified; grepping finds references but they’re all accounted
for in the new system. Odd. From:
eprints-tech-bounces@ecs.soton.ac.uk [mailto:eprints-tech-bounces@ecs.soton.ac.uk]
On Behalf Of Alan.Stiles It’s in cfg/namedsets/documents application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document and then you’ll also need the matching phrases e.g. <phrase id="document_typename_application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document">MS Word (2007+)</phrase> From:

On Behalf Of Andrew Beeken Hello all! We’re testing some document uploads on the new EPrints and some doc types aren’t being recognised – where does EPrints keep its list of accepted document types? I need to check what should be accepted (at present, .docx and .xlsx are not
identified) so that I can make sure that our migrated system is working as expected. Thanks! Andrew
