What about to introduce a new (non-multiple) field 'uniqueDOI' and configure the DOI import appropriately in plugins.pl: $c->{plugins}->{"Import::DOI"}->{params}->{doi_field} = "uniqueDOI"; > My front-office wants the field to be multiple. imho for DOI it's useless, but DOI import could be configured :) Hth Thomas
