All, Is anyone using the conversion from doc/docx to pdf functionality within eprints? Looking at the change logs: Feature was added in 3.1: https://wiki.eprints.org/w/New_Features_in_EPrints_3.1
"There's a convert plugin to turn .doc into .pdf, which is available from the upload screen convert option."
and was clearly still in 3.3: https://wiki.eprints.org/w/New_Features_in_EPrints_3.3
"Antiword is no longer used for indexing so isn't required (although still used for the doc → pdf 'toy' converter)"
The function appears in our setup, but currently doesn’t work. Has anyone got this to work, or a workaround? Regards, Adam |
