Collaboration sounds like a great idea – not sure if it’s best to start with the Agro Ontology, or whether it’s best to work out the
requirements first and then see if that’s the best starting place. It could get confusing otherwise if we decide it doesn’t actually do enough to start with. Auto-generation (or auto-suggestion) of subjects was part of what I’d like to achieve (possibly not as a first iteration!) and I was
considering whether there was any scope for using the abstract and title (and even previous submissions) to suggest appropriate terms. I don’t know if it’s a silly idea, but perhaps we can set up a usergroup github repository before importing/writing any code, and perhaps
try to work through the requirements as issues? Lizz -- Lizz Jennings BA MSc ACLIP MCLIP (Revalidated 2015) Research Data Librarian (Systems) The Library 4.10, University of Bath, Bath, BA2 7AY UK Ext. 3570 (External 01225 383570) Research Data Management:

On Behalf Of Denis Pitzalis Yes, it was :) while the auto-generated subjects from tags is a great idea, the thesaurus is something else, actually I usually use both! I am now trying to understand why the auto-generated does not work, I do not know if it is specific of my install or there are differences with the core or I don't know :) Maybe we should upload the source code of Agro into the github working group and start from there to create a generic plugin that supports thesaurus. I even tried to find a student that could have helped in that. Denis On Thu, Oct 20, 2016 at 6:25 PM, John Salter <J.Salter@leeds.ac.uk> wrote:
