Lizz, Are you trying to build hierarchy or just a list? If it’s just a standard list I personally would really suggest you go with either a named set (controlled by the admin) or a standard field with a lookup function

On Behalf Of Lizz Jennings Hello all, Has anyone implemented a thesaurus in place of the standard subject tree in EPrints? Has anyone tried to implement a thesaurus in place of the standard subject tree in EPrints and found it impossible because of some fundamental incompatibility?
