Tomasz, I’ve updated the wiki with the phrase.

On Behalf Of Tomasz Neugebauer Hi Brian, Thank you! The ORCID validation code is useful indeed.
If it is not too difficult to find, could you please add to the wiki the phrase XML for
warnings:orcid_invalid ? Best wishes! Tomasz From:

On Behalf Of Brian D. Gregg Tomasz, Yes, it’s not a straight forward piece of code. It could be cleaned up a bit to make it a bit friendlier to work with. Glad to hear you got your version to work. Feel free to ping me if needed going forward. BTW I added some additional information on the Wiki as well relating to ORCID validation if you’re interested. -Brian. From:

On Behalf Of Tomasz Neugebauer Hi Brian, Thank you! I was able to find the problem with my attempt at getting this to work after looking at how you did it. Tomasz ________________________________________________

On Behalf Of Tomasz Neugebauer Hi everyone, I added ORCID to the creator field, but now I need to have the “lookup” function populate the field. The EPrints Wiki mentions that this was done already by at least one institution (MailScanner
has detected a possible fraud attempt from "na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com" claiming to be https://wiki.eprints.org/w/ORCID#Notes_from_Pittsburgh)
“We have added the ORCID to the “lookup” function to populate the ORCID field. – cgi/users/lookup/name” Does anyone have an updated cgi/users/lookup/name script that takes into consideration the ORCID field? Thank you and have a great weekend, Tomasz ________________________________________________
