Dear All, The member institutions in CASRAI-UK are happy to announce the CASRAI Open Call has been launched. There are a number of proposed activities in this open international call that are led by the UK research community and came out of the May workshop on priorities-setting. Please visit https://casrai.org/opencall17 and endorse any of the potential work packages that you are interested in. The call is asking for your participation in one of two ways: 1. Volunteer your time and/or input: On the issues that interest you please give us inputs or volunteer to serve on the working groups or wider review groups. 2. Give your endorsement: If any of the issues resonate with you but you cannot volunteer please do provide your endorsement of the issues in the short web form provided; this is important to signal support for the planned work. It only takes a couple of minutes to participate online so please help shape the work of CASRAI over the coming year, both here in the UK and with our partner countries. If you want to contribute to and support this work now is your chance to signal that. The deadline for endorsements and suggestions is 21st October 2016 after which plans will be made for the first set of working groups. If you have any questions about this call for participation please contact info@casrai.org ABOUT CASRAI CASRAI is an international nonprofit membership initiative led by research institutions and their partners. Our mission is to adapt the principles and best practices of open standards and data governance to lead and facilitate key stakeholders in annual deliberations to develop 'standard information agreements' that serve as bridges between research information users.
