Hi There,
The line Alan states would only output the standard output to the log file and miss all the error logging, which you will probably need.
To output the errors to the log file too, try:
<eprintsroot>/bin/epadmin reindex –verbose –verbose <ARCHIVEID> [<EPRINTID EPRINTID EPRINTID…] > logfile.txt 2>&1
Cheers,
Monica Wood

On Behalf Of Andrew Beeken Morning all! It’s been a while since I’ve been on here! I need to take a look at what our indexer is doing and I know in the past that I’ve run a re-index from the command line with double --verbose, dumping the log out to a file, but I
cannot for the life of me remember how I did it! I know the syntax was in an email somewhere but I’ve changed machines and older emails have been archived on our Outlook server. Could anyone remind me of what I need to run on this? Cheers! Andrew
