[EP-tech] Community Contribution Day -- Wednesday 18th Nov

11 People have no filled in the doodle, and the only day everyone is available is Wenesday, November 18th.  So, let's have out community contributions day then.

There are a number of things that need to be done in the run-up, and I'm hoping that I can recruit a small "organising committee" to discuss and set the agenda for the day.

Some things to think about:

	* Creating a list of jobs before the event
	* Getting people access (e.g. the wiki)
	* Communications on the day
	* Making sure teams can form
	* Ensuring no job is done twice
	* Recruiting more community members to help

This has always been discussed as a remote event.  I was thinking this morning that it would be nice if there was an attendance option for people.  Perhaps we could have local chapters of the contribution day at strategic points around the country.  Certainly, I'd be happy to host anyone who is happy to travel to Southampton.  Any thoughts on this?

This is in less than two weeks, so we should roll our sleves up, pull our socks up, double-knot our shoelaces and get moving :)
