An EPrints Community news update from EPrints HQ. Adam Field, who is our EPrints Community engagement lead, will be leaving us at the end of the year. Adam has been active within the EPrints Community for several years, and most recently has been our Community lead here at Southampton. Many of you will have met his cheeky grin at conferences, or quizzed him on the eptech mailing list. Adam is moving to Jisc, and will still be on the repository scene. Best wishes Adam! Whenever we have asked the Community what they want from us, the response has always echoed a resounding, "new EPrints core development". We have listened. From the start if the new year we will have a dedicated EPrints developer. Jiadi Yao has been with EPrints Services for a couple of years, supporting our customer repositories. Jiadi will now divide his time between core development and customer support. We’ll post more news on this in due course. Justin -- Justin Bradley EPrints Services University of Southampton |
