[EP-tech] Re: Search by date deposit

I think this could be the winner – is there a guide anywhere on how to set up a custom search?

You could configure a new search with only the specific fields you need. If you don't link to it from your interface, no-one would know it was there (though it would still be accessible).

It¹s an automated thing - unfortunately I can¹t drill into the admin
search outputs from a URL. I want to drive some widgets that I¹m working
on to give ³Past Month² overviews of deposits. An idea could be to add it
to the search, get the syntax, remove it from the search and see if it
still works!

Not specifically the answer you are after, but a quick thought is that
you could add it to the admin only search, unless you are trying to do
something more automated?

Hello!

I want to be able to pull back items by deposit date but don't
necessarily want to add this to the advanced search form. Is there a URL
hack I can do on, say, the JSON output from the advanced search that I
can grab results by this criteria? I already have a function to hack the
URL to do different searches and get the JSON feed back, so it'll be
straightforward to implement this if I know what the syntax is.
