[EP-tech] Re: IRStats API

Hi Andrew,
If you're processing the stats on a different server, you might want the CSV/JSON/XML export methods.
If you look in ~/archives/ARCHIVEID/cgi/stats/ you'll see the scripts that are used to return this data - normally called asynchronously from the IRStats page - these are essentially HTTP wrappers for the API.

Hope that gets you another step along the way.

Cheers,
John

Subject: [EP-tech] IRStats API

Hello all,

I know that there is a page on the Wiki regarding the API for IRStats, however my question is somewhat more specific. I’m working on a tool attempting to combine different metrics relating to EPrints outputs in one dashboard. This is being written in PHP and currently incorporates data from Altmetric and Scopus, scraped nightly into a local database. The guide for the IRStats API discusses using it within the Perl environment of EPrints, however it does not mention if it’s possible to access the data from an external application (that I can see at least)

Is this possible or am I barking up the wrong tree?

All the best,
Andrew
