Excellent!I'm in a similar position.... however I'm going to be creating my VMs using Puppet (so I can roll out Devel, QA, and Service VMs as I need them.

I am new to EPrints so perhaps this has already been done and if so I appologize. I created a vagrant based EPrints 3.3 deployment over CentOS 7 to match my local production environment. It does not eliminate configuring/securing MySQL or creating the EPrints repository but but does eliminate chasing down various rpms and getting them into CentOS 7. I hope it is useful to someone besides myself. The URL is https://github.com/rsdoiel/eprints-vagrant.https://github.com/rsdoiel/eprints-vagrant. The README.md file includes instructions on the manual parts that need to be addressed.
