[EP-tech] Re: Wordpress to EPrints via SWORD

Hi Andrew

Have you considered overlay journals in the repository.  Huddersfield, for example, publishes a number of journals straight out of the repository:

This won't really help with your submission and review process, but it might be a way to give the publication a home.

Hello all!

We’re currently looking at setting up an Open Journal – while we’re still assessing the system that we’re likely to use, we are zeroing in on either OJS or Wordpress using the IssueM plugin. One of the questions that’s cropped up is: is it possible to, using SWORD, deposit published issues from either of these systems into EPrints. Now, I know that’s possible and that one of the proposals at the Jisc Data Spring earlier this year was for an OJS plugin to do such a thing, however I was wondering if anyone has had any success with doing it with Wordpress before I start investigating building my own plugin?
