Looks like this has been corrected in https://github.com/eprints/eprints/blob/master/perl_lib/EPrints/Utils.pm line 151-154
Although this correction hasn't made it into the 3.3.12 and 3.3.13 distribution. ???

Hi,
EPrints renders creator (and editor, ...) names always with a comma, even if the given name is missing (e.g. in the case of organizations or due to other reasons). See http://www.zora.uzh.ch/108209/ for an example.
If have found two methods that exhibit this behaviour:
Utils::make_name_string()
MetaField::Name::render_search_value()
Fix only the first or both?
Thank you,
Martin
