Yes, regional EPrints use is of particular interest to me, but I have yet to put serious thought to how best to approach non-English-language communities.

This is already underway.  I hope to publish something in the new year.

Yes, this is big on my agenda too.  I haven't put much thought to it yet (it's only my 4th day and I'm focusing on getting a development road-map sorted), but action on this will come.

Yes, google.  Hated by everyone else that tries to do search because they make search look effortless.

I believe that functionality is already available for administrators.  However, it's a tough interface to build effectively.
