I'm not sure about when the next official release is, but this:

Hi,

The current release of ePrints is 3.3.12 which came out in July last year. I’ve not been able to get it to work with the latest Perl libraries on Ubuntu 14.02 LTS.

Is there a plan or timescale for the next official release?
