[EP-tech] Re: ePrints 3.3.x

I think anything in the Plugin dir can be overridden at an archive level.

Copy:

    ~/lib/plugins/EPrints/Plugin/Stats/View/KeyFigures.pm

To:

    ~/archives/ARCHIVEID/cfg/plugins/EPrints/Plugin/Stats/View/LocalKeyFigures.pm

Make your changes.

Edit:

~/archives/ARCHIVEID/cfg/cfg.d/plugins.pl (or some other config file):

$c->{plugin_alias_map}->{"Stats::View::KeyFigures"} = "Stats::View::LocalKeyFigures";

$c->{plugin_alias_map}->{"Stats::View::LocalKeyFigures"} = undef;

NB I haven’t tested this on the stats stuff – hopefully it’ll work OK!

Cheers,
John

Subject: [EP-tech] ePrints 3.3.x

Hi All,

I have been merrily customizing various things, e.g., local phrase file, that overrides the default system-wide phrases etc…

Just wondering if the various plugin/perl modules also follow this methodology?  And, if it can be done, where should it be placed?

Eg, I want to make changes to the vanilla file of IRStats2 à lib/plugins/EPrints/Plugin/Stats/View/KeyFigures.pm

Cheers

Matt
