EPrints hasn’t found the necessary phrases. 1. Check that the XML phrase files exist at <eprints-install-dir>/lib/lang/en/phrases/ and <eprints-install-dir>/archives/<archive-name>/cfg/lang/en/phrases/. 2. Check that these phrases are readable by the user httpd is running as. 3. Check that the missing phrases, e.g., “template/navigation:home”, are defined in at least one of those files. You are looking for something like <epp:phrase id="template/navigation:home">Home</epp:phrase>. Our solution was to remove Unicode::Normalize from eprints/perl_lib thus forcing EPrints to use the system library.
