[EP-tech] Rel 3.3.10 - doc2txt and txt2refs

Dear all,

i'm migrating from 3.2.4 to 3.3.10 and i'm checking the executables extra Eprints needed by this version (I'm installing eprints in a FreBSD environment : all is done by hand !) .

All are known except doc2txt and txt2refs that are referred in some import plugin. I noticed that they should be put in a "tools" directory that is not present at all in the standard distribution kit.

Some questions :

a) where can i find them ?
b) why are them referred in the standard distribution when they aren't present ?
c) what happens if i don't install them ?

Best regards,
Paolo Tealdi
