From that link you can click to see the actual revision: http://trac.eprints.org/eprints/changeset/7762
At the bottom of that page is a a link to download the changes as "Unified Diff". You can take that diff and apply it to the file using the command line tool "patch". patch has a man page and its pretty well know so google should be able to help you get it sorted. If you have any trouble do get back to us.
Once you have applied the patch you should restart apache.
