Hi, Check http://xapian.org/docs/queryparser.html for an overview. If you want to test, look at http://demoprints.eprints.org/cgi/search/simple and try, for instance, to search for: rit* (will match rituals etc) rituals AND turtle rituals -turtle "mating rituals" for exact matching etc. You may also pre-pend a field name eg: title: rituals etc. Seb.
