Meet the EPrints Services team
Based at the University of Southampton, the team is comprised of Southampton graduates and Enterprise staff. The team brings a wealth of commercial experience and technical knowledge.
Prof. Justin Bradley
Director
About
Justin has been working with EPrints Services since 2010, having previously worked on other Web technology within the University of Southampton.
Justin leads and coordinates of the rest of the team, heading up technical direction, sales, and management activities.
Prof. Les Carr
EPrints Founder
About
Les is a Professor of Web Science at the University of Southampton, he has been instrumental in the creation of the EPrints software as well as creating the EPrints Services team. Les brings a wealth of experience and insight on both the Web and Open Access.
John Darlington
Business Development
About
John brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to team, he leads the business development activities for us as well as many other broader activities within ECS Partners and the the University of Southampton. John draws on his previous experience from working with many other companies, such as Sony and IBM.
David Newman
EPrints Software Engineer
About
David joined EPrints Services in 2014, he heads up EPrints product development, which serves our customers and well as the wider EPrints community. David has a great deal of knowledge, experience and insight into both repository creation and the running of hosted services.
Don Cruickshank
EPrints Software Engineer
About
Don brings a wealth of experience and technical knowledge to the Team. He has worked on many large technical projects within the University of Southampton, as well as for us.
Edward Oakley
EPrints Software Engineer
About
Ed joined the EPrints Services team in 2020. Ed has previously worked as a test automation engineer. Ed leads engineering projects and undertakes a wide variety of support activities.
Richard Cook
EPrints Software Engineer
About
Richard joined the EPrints Services team in 2020, having previous completed his Masters degree at the University of Southampton. Richard then moved on to work on several other large running software projects within ECS.
Adeeba Mahmood
EPrints Software Engineer
About
Adeeba joined the EPrints Services team in 2023, having completed a Masters at the University of Southampton. Adeeba supports customer projects and queries, as well as undertaking larger projects.
